I have just requested an extension so a little weight has bee lifted off my shoulders. My tutor was great about the whole situation, and if anything she was more than happy to grant an extension. The thing is that i still have to do the work, its not like i can fly off to Spain for week.

I feel a lot better though and hopefully I will pass this period and return to normality. Whatever that is.
